Three C's of Andaa's philosophy
We are
(i) Christian,
(ii) Classical
(iii) Contextual.
We Are Christian
As humans, children are made to know and love God, ultimately through faith in Jesus Christ. They should encounter teachers and a curriculum that is theocentric and Logos-centric in how it views the world and all knowledge. This provides them a worldview that confirms the plausibility of the gospel and prepares children for it.
We Are Classical
The educational philosophy now called “classical” education best captures these Christian assumptions. Christian classical education sees education as discipleship, training souls to delight in what is good, true and beautiful.
We are Contextual
If our children will be educated to be virtuous leaders, good neighbors and responsible citizens, they will also need a sound knowledge of their own history, problems and blessings as Kenyans and Africans. This way they can make a difference here, where God has placed them.
